At Legacy Farms and Nursery in Citronelle, AL, farming is our way of life and a shared passion for our family. Led by Walt and Sandi Turner, we spend our days tending to our lush ferns, pruning our colorful annual flowers, raising our cows or grooming our 30 acre pecan orchard. Most days you’ll find us riding our farm cart with our dogs, checking fences, and soaking in the tranquility of the land. It’s a simple life we love, and we’re excited to share it with you.

Our faith in God and Jesus Christ guides everything we do at Legacy Farms. We believe the land we steward is a blessing, and we strive to honor Him by nurturing it with care, growing wholesome products, and opening our farm to families like yours. Through every fern we plant and every visitor we welcome, we aim to reflect the love and grace that Jesus teaches us, building a community rooted in faith and togetherness.

When you visit, you’ll step into our story. Our families have been farming the lands we now farm for over 100 years. The site of our nursery was home to Sandi’s grandparents dairy farm that was started around 1950. When you visit you can Interact with our cows, a rare treat for kids and adults alike, or capture memories with photos by our iconic silo and historic barns. Join us for a relaxing cart ride through the fields, just like we do every evening to unwind. It’s the perfect way to experience the charm of rural Citronelle while picking out a fern for your porch or a bag of our fresh pecans for a pie.
